CONGRATULATIONS TO THE VIRTUAL RODERO FOR THE SOUTH CHAMPIONS!
Our first fundraising event was a virtual rodeo that anyone, any age, any riding ability, could enter any rodeo event of their choice. 75% of the entry fees went to our fundraiser and the 25% went into payout for each event! We had a lot of fun putting this together and the end result was $1546.39 FUNDS RAISED to help with relief efforts in the South who are still working to recover from the damages and destruction from Hurricane Helene.
Our choice of organizations to receive these benefits was the Mountain Mule Packer Ranchwho are still working in the South to help where ever the help is needed! Please go like their page and follow all of their relief efforts as well.
WE WANTED TO UPDATE… this fundraiser has grown even more, thanks to more of our Champions! The Eck Family has notified us that they have decided to donate their winnings back to our benefactor of this fundraiser: the Mission Mules!
We will be sending another $125.39 to the Mission Mules for their use in helping NC and TN recovery and rebuilding .
Thank you very much to Linda Eck, Jentree Eck, Keaton Eck and Tyson Eck for your generosity! You are all true champions!
This makes the fundraiser efforts new total of $1,917.67! We did this with your help and we are thankful for all of you!
At the Jeff Crockett Memorial Foundation, we strive to be the Light After Sorrow. We will continue to raise funds and be of support to those dealing with loss in the rodeo family.

Ron was a great comfort to me when Lacey died . I was once told that you are not able to understand till you are able to understand, whether it is mentally or emotionally or spiritually. I believe your family has found the answer. Thank you for what you do. God bless
We are a family who is connected to the rodeo world and have experienced the loss of a loved one. We feel we have something to offer those who are in a similar circumstance with financial help and with understanding, to help families through the hurt and emptiness that we have felt.

“Twenty five years ago this weekend was a BIG weekend for me and Lane. We had a Challenge at Livermore and Lane made the 8 second whistle. Then we all loaded up. I was in my trailer and John Growney, Lane and another bullrider, Jeff Crockett, were in the truck hauling me. Somewhere in the middle of the night we stopped to gas up. Lane came back to visit with me. He said “Here we are, two Champs going down the road together.” We got into the rodeo grounds late – they got me in a pen with food and water and went off. A couple of hours later, they were back and it was time to rock and roll! Check out this photo that Linda Rosser took of us. You can even see John and Jeff Crockett behind the chutes! Linda took a great series of shots that shows me pretty high off that dirt!! She should post them. They’re great. She took the famous one of me and Lane at Red Bluff too. Maybe her daughter Cindy Rosser will help her get that done… anyway – big weekend this was!”
